Eternal Holiday

There was as there ever was
eternal starlight,
kisses in the night,
whispers to caress her ears,
tender touch tracing comet tails
upon her skin,
upon a deepening love ever after.

There was as she'd always dreamed
late night loving,
shadows dancing,
silhouettes exploring possibilities
she'd thought impossible before the fire,
a fire too hot,
but one she was willing to touch.

About Christina Anne Hawthorne

Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.
