Christina Anne Hawthorne
Christina Anne Hawthorne
Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.

Holding Rain
Waiting in the rain, tears collecting in her hand, waiting for her One, her someone, for no one. Someone for everyone, wasn’t that what she’d heard? If that was so, maybe her One had lost their way? Maybe she had … Continue reading

Stars
You questioned without words, pleading. My heart, languishing before the fall, my lips caressing a whisper. Even stars die, they thrive as glistening in my eyes, falling to your finger when I say goodbye. ©July 2017, September 2020 Christina Anne … Continue reading

In Memory
In that moment so brief in our lives my heart thawed because you found my light. I wanted to embrace you, but darkness fell and we passed out of sight. New paths carried us in opposing directions, taking us farther … Continue reading
