Christina Anne Hawthorne
Christina Anne Hawthorne
Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.

Ontyre Map Series 2 – First Carrdia Efforts
My transition from real maps to fantasy maps happened in an instant the day I opened The Fellowship of the Ring and saw Middle Earth. It was a map of imagination itself. It was an I-need-to-sit-down moment. The Middle Earth … Continue reading
Introducing My Map Series
It’s virtually impossible to not be new in this new reality that is the pandemic. As difficult as it is—and it is difficult–I’m trying to be new in a positive way. I’m applying that attitude to my health, home, and … Continue reading
Hope, Purpose, and Kasaria
It’s time to talk about writing again. I could talk about the bad news circling the globe week after week, but I won’t. Not this week. After all, I’m a writer. I write. I’m also a writer who most often … Continue reading

Examining the 2020 Plan
The pressure is light at the moment, but building each month as I move through 2020 on my way to late autumn. That pressure is a result of my plans for the year. My ultimate goal for 2020 is, and … Continue reading
