A Moment Forever

snow-glistening whispers
a fire's caress until her skin did warm
a winter evening's kiss
love, passion, breaths too shallow to hold
and thankfulness
were it a moment lasting forever
it wouldn't be long enough

ember-glowing heat
her hands seeking her ecstasy's source
yearning lips in motion
glorious night, flickering light, a fever
and love's glow
flames mimicking body's in time
and still forever wasn't long enough

About Christina Anne Hawthorne

Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.
