Ghost of Creation

It'd tried to take her
in those long ago days,
tried to end her life.
She'd kept breathing,

Was she alive?
She wondered sometimes,
heard tales of the dying
while she lived,
thrived alone,

There was damage,
but she'd learned.
Yoga and meditation for sanity.
Walks when the dying weren't near.
to escape.

About Christina Anne Hawthorne

Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.
