She Could SEE It

They told her it wasn't real,
but instead,
her imagination.
It didn't matter.
She could SEE it.

People and places.
Pasts, presents, and futures.
They'd shared with her
when she was there.
When she'd SEEN them.

So many voices whispering.
So many hearts crying.
They filled her writer's life,
and that made them family.
She could SEE that, too.

About Christina Anne Hawthorne

Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.
