She’d languished in emotional oppression.
When would it end?
It was a question she always asked.
She’d fought the longing,
and longed to fight.
Then it happened…
waking with memories not her own
and too many questions.
Touched by magic,
but with none of her own
a tenacious passion would have to do.
Her survivor’s intellect burned.
She had more questions to ask.

About Christina Anne Hawthorne

Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.
