Timing

It’s a waste of time
worrying about time running out.
It’s true that time isn’t standing still,
nor is time on our side,
yet we make thinking about time a timeless activity.
And all the while we still can’t find the time to make it work.
From time to time we wonder,
is it the right time
or the wrong time?
So much time wasting time
when time isn’t for wasting.
There’s a time to live that isn’t ahead or behind,
because the best time to live is now.

About Christina Anne Hawthorne

Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.
