Reawakened

She realized in the moment,
there was awakening,
and then there was reawakening.
In the modern world of casual,
a man shouldn’t look so good in a suit.
Oh, but he did.
None more so than the man reaching to her cheek,
his lips entirely too kissable.
Reawakening,
she decided in the moment,
had possibilities worthy of exploration.

About Christina Anne Hawthorne

Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.
