Experiment on the Horizon

Yet again NaNoWriMo is on the horizon. It’s still over two months away, but it’s the thinking now that leads to formal preparation in October. This year might be my sixth NaNo in a row, but it’s going to be a bit different.

This year, instead of drafting a sequel, I’ll attempt a stand-alone Pannulus story. I dearly love the novels I’ve written, but this time I want to limit locations more than I have in the past. My great adventures mean a lot to me, but I need a change.

What won’t change is my focus on character.

This opportunity is somewhat born of necessity…

About Ontyre Passages

Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.
