December Win-Win

What happened? I really should ask myself that question, but then again I already know the answer. My Short Story December with a laid-back goal of four short stories over the course of the month … well, it hasn’t quite gone the way it was supposed to.

I reported I was ahead last week and had written five short stories of nearly 5K each before the middle of the month. That’s all well and good, but then a curious thing happened…

My short stories are almost always set in Pannulus, each containing important insights into its culture. After finishing the fifth short story this month I went to reference information from the one novel I set there (it went wrong near the end because my world building was insufficient so it’s on hold) and remembered I’d begun a series of special stories tied to the Pannulus novel.

About Ontyre Passages

Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.
