Ontyre Visions

I’m so excited that I’m making a special post today to announce the official unveiling of Ontyre Visions on Pinterest. It contains carefully selected images that capture the essence of Ontyre, the world I created for my fantasy series. There you’ll see clothing/fashion, locations, creatures, and other glimpses into Ontyre. I’ll continue to add to the board over time.Ontyre Visions

The visual link to the right is now permanently displayed at the bottom of every post here at Ontyre Passages (this one works, too…I’m getting the hang of this linking thing).

Too, there are other boards at the Pinterest site so please feel free to browse while you’re there. It’s a fun place to visit. I’m still trying to figure out how to make snacks available.

This post wouldn’t be complete, nor would it have happened, without a very special THANK YOU to karmicangel here on WordPress who explained to me how to create and display the Pinterest link. Her blog, “a Portia Adams adventure,” is a literary and visual treat. Please stop by. I know she’s entertained and inspired me.

About Ontyre Passages

Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.

Thanks very much! Glad it worked out and following you on Pinterest now my friend!

  2. Loving it, I collect images for my story Hollow a paranormal novel Im into a bit of steam punk and can see some of your images are too, now following xx

    • Thanks. I like a lot of things about steampunk and find it fun, and yes, there are such elements in the novel, but only touches. The clothing is very much in line with it along with a few other things…goggles, for instance. At the same time, there’s none of the mechanical touches that are so much a centerpiece of steampunk so I was careful to only choose images that didn’t possess them (I didn’t use the word as a tag, for instance). Keep collecting your images…I’d been doing so for years, though over time I discarded some because my vision shifted. Pinterest is an excellent place to search for the images that match what’s in your head.
