“Whew!” or “Wow!” or “What Happened?”

It’s been an eventful, exciting ride these nearly 2 weeks since I started on WordPress, but it’s been great. Even with all the work that’s been done here at Ontyre Passages thus far I really don’t have much more than the basement started. There’s still so much more to do, but I’m glad that I won’t be alone while the construction is in progress.

My sincere thanks to everyone who’s stopped by to take a look, who’ve liked what they’ve seen, and who’ve chosen to pitch a tent and stay awhile. You’re all welcome to stay as long as you’d like. Set up a lawn chair. Get a snack. Pour a drink. More than anything I’m enjoying the sharing.

High on my list of things to do in the near future is to put together a post pertaining to the novel, which is the primary reason the blog exists. I will admit, though, that I’ve been having a lot of fun with The Journal and the story that’s unfolding there, a story that’s literally unfolding one day at a time for me and for Shayleen. Please remember, the information section, Ontyre, pertains to both my novel and The Journal. There are a couple of posts there already that are meant as aids for any visiting readers.

Also, before I go, a special “hello” to all of you from Misha and Mr. Calvin, my cats, who inspired some of the work I’ve posted.

About Ontyre Passages

Alive and well in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a fantasy writer who also dabbles in poetry, short stories, and map making. My Ontyre tales are an alternative fantasy experience, the stories rich in mystery, adventure, and romance. Alternative fantasy? Not quite steampunk. Not quite gothic. In truth, the real magic is in those who discover what's within.
